Our Vision

a message from THE PRESIDENT OF EEC GROUP

I am proud to see that EEC, steadily progressing in the past few decades, is well-prepared and structured for the generations to come. As president, I am proud to witness this growth. We have a capable board of executives to look after its operations, an equally qualified board of directors to look after its management, as well as a board of governors to look after company strategy, structure and business. The company has strong assets and sound finances. Every company in the group is growing stronger with new opportunities and prospects.

The group is built from 'Knowledge Base', which is instilled, if not inherent, in our people and database. This is a real asset for EEC. Human resource is the company's greatest asset and it never fails to impress when I walk through the office and see the

many 10-25 year employees who are still with us, leading or supporting the next generation to come.

EEC Academy is an effective mechanism for human resource development, turning the cost of training into realizable income. The academy trains clients and our own engineers to be lecturers and for other various purposes. We also strongly encourage our engineers to publish papers and contribute to society.

The company is one of the oldest and most successful engineering companies in Thailand, reflected in our logo 'Dynamism/ Longevity/ and Wealth,' the first associated with changes/adaptation, continuing development and innovation; the second, with includes health and sustainability; and the last, a core value.

Looking at EEC references, we can see that there are a wide range of projects, from project fit outs to mega projects. The mega projects include mega malls such as Seacon Square and Future Park in Bangkok, Thailand, both of which are over half a million sq.m, housed in a single roof. With their still-recognized design excellence, both have an enviable record of +15 years of smooth and efficient operation. More current projects, including the new Government Center in Bangkok, a one-million million sq.m complex, is a model of advanced and innovative building design, constructed within government budget constraints. Others include Hamad Medical City-Qatar of 220,000 sq.m, the most advanced and the largest hospital building for the area; SIME in Bangkok, of 200,000 sq.m, the model for Southeast Asia regional medical center of excellence. These projects reflect our sharply increased number of overseas projects in the Middle East and Africa, necessitating our opening a new office in Abu Dhabi.

The quality of our drawings and technical documents is admired by our international partners and contractors. Based in Bangkok, we successfully coordinate project partner, drawings and work through FTP site. Design workshop is one of the keys of success, and Bangkok is proven to be an ideal place for everyone.

       Clients come to EEC for 'design solution'. It is challenging to be part of an innovative design project. We have vast experience in energy efficiency project, having registered a number of patents such as combined heat and power system ("Green Integrated Energy System-GIES"/ "Green Integrated Utility System-GIUS"); indoor air quality control system ("Dedicated External Environmental Control System-DEECS"/ Dedicated Internal Environmental Control System-DIES"); special air conditioning system for OR ("Hypergenic Air-Conditioning Unit-HAU"); energy demand control system ("Chilled Water Storage Plus-CWS+); a power plant efficiency improvement system (Green Inlet Air Cooling System-GIAC); and a solar air-conditioning system.

       EEC group of companies include EEC-Lincolne Scott with the latter an Australian partner that was acquired by WSP group in July, 2007. The company is part of an international network, and is one of the best performing Lincolne-Scott offices in the region. EEC-LS provide engineering services both locally and internationally, bringing income to the country. In operation since 1994, it is a model of joint venture success through flourishing business, with enhanced environmental design and green engineering. The Vision Design Studio, an architectural lighting group under EEC-LS, is a pride in the region. They are outstanding, internationally outperforming the competitors.

       Bright Management and Consulting (BMC) is another company in EEC group, specializing in energy management and carbon credit consulting under clean development mechanism or CDM program. It is an ISO-certified company, a registered energy audit consultancy, and an expert for Thailand's Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency.

       There are also other associates in the group, formerly departments of EEC, but now operating independently, such as IECM, providing construction supervision services; EEC-IE, providing industrial engineering services; and NGI, providing turn key solution for OR, isolation room, clean room, humidity control. Having no legal business ties, these associates work with EEC in a professional and courteous manner. Through years of trust, idealistic to some, but a way of thinking for us, we have a rock-solid relationship with these associates.
